Kix, kid tested...

When we have a crazy morning at our house, it never falls on a weekend when we can laugh about the events, it always happens on a school morning when I have to be there early. Last Tuesday, my principal asked the teachers to be at school early because they were holding an election that day. Our school is a polling place so we have people wandering around the building trying to find the gym. Someone in charge of planning had the great idea to start SOL's (our end of year tests), on this particular day. Another rant altogether that I'm not even going to go into.

So I get Asher up, play with him for a while and notice his diaper is wet even though I just changed him. I take the diaper off, walk to deposit it in the pail in the bathroom and in that time, Asher manages to pee not once, but twice, in two different locations. I put the diaper on, and start cleaning the carpet (yes, they should have charged us a pet deposit). About halfway through this chore, I hear from the kitchen, "keex, keex" and the pictures below will detail what I saw.

So, needless to say, I was lucky to make it to school before the bell rang, much less early.
