I just returned from Food Lion where I spent $31 in 15 minutes. Here is what I got:
milk: 4.29
organic milk: 3.49
egg beaters: 3.79
sweet potatoes: 1.40
diet coke (5): 3.95
butter: 2.50
cream cheese: 1.69
powdered sugar: 1.75
cards (2): 5.18
RIDICULOUS!!!
When we moved to New Albany five years ago, milk was 1.78 and eggs were 0.78, cream cheese was 0.99 and butter 1.99. The stupid government needs to stop messing with our corn supply and figure out how to make fuel out of something else. Why can't they figure out how to make things run on disposable diapers? Too bad I'm not a brilliant scientist who could make this happen. Speaking of disposable diapers, those who use them be prepared for a price hike this summer because they are a petroleum product.

I'm buying in advance on my diapers :) and I am excited that he can start cow's milk in a month (hopefully there will be no issues)! And I also shop at walmart, not because I want to! Though I also am a loyal shopper to Costco!
